 The publication follows the rules of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

Charter and publishing ethics standards of scientific journals of the Islamic Republic of Iran Police

On the ethics of publishing an article, the Journal, on the one hand, considers itself obligated to protect the rights of authors, copyright holders and content producers, and, on the other hand, believes that it must protect the rights of its readers. Therefore, in order to observe this important issue and in line with the international scientific community, this journal considers the rules and policies of ethics in world publishing. According to Journal of Social Order Quarterly, all those involved in the process of publishing an article (author, journal staff, and reviewers) must accept and act on the journal's ethical rules and charter. The publication follows the rules of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Accordingly, Author(s) should download the conflict of interest and the moral commitment of the publication forms and send the completed and signed forms along with the article.

Charter and Standards of Publishing Ethics in the journal of Social Order Quarterly

It is a charter or commitment that outlines some ethical limits and responsibilities for conducting scientific research activities and publishing them in the journal of Social Order Quarterly to prevent intentional or unintentional research violations by the authors of the manuscripts.

This charter is taken from the "Charter and Standards of Research Ethics" approved by the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, internationally accepted publishing standards and experiences in IRI police scientific journals and some other scientific research journals.

 Introduction:

   The authors, reviewers, editorial board and editor-in-chief of the journal are required to know, and be committed to, all principles of research ethics and related responsibilities in the field of publishing. Submission of the manuscript by the authors, reviewing the manuscript by the reviewers and deciding whether to accept or reject the manuscript by the editorial board and the editor-in-chief, is to know and respect these rights, and if the author(s) does not adhere to these principles, the journal will take any legal action as its right. The charter and standards of research ethics approved by the Deputy Minister of Research and Technology of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology should be a guide for authors and those involved in reviewing and publishing publications.

Authors’ obligations:

   The submitted manuscripts must be in the specialized field of the journal and have been prepared scientifically and coherently, according to the standard of the journal.

The submitted manuscripts should be the original research of the author (s) presenting the manuscript and any use of other people's research should be mentioned in the manuscript. The research must be done accurately and objectively and the data must be reported correctly.

The author(s) is responsible for the accuracy and precision of the content of the manuscripts and the author(s) is obliged to ensure the accuracy and precision of the content of the manuscripts. The publication of an manuscript does not imply endorsement by the journal.

   The author (s) have no right to resubmit an manuscript. In other words, the manuscript or part of it should not be published in any other journal in or outside the country or in the process of being reviewed and published.

   Author (s) are not allowed to publish overlays. Overlapping means publishing the data and findings of your previous manuscripts with a slight change to an manuscript as new.

   The author(s) is obliged to use the content of others, with the necessary reference, and if necessary, after obtaining written and explicit permission, to use the required resources. When the same writings of another researcher are used, direct quotation marks and methods should be used, such as putting it in quotation marks  (‘ ‘).

   The corresponding author should make sure that the names and information of all the authors exist and that there are no names other than the researchers involved in conducting the research and preparing the manuscript. In other words, adding "honorary author" and deleting "real author" should be avoided.

   The corresponding author is obliged to ensure that all authors of the manuscript have read it and agreed to present it and their place in the manuscript.

   Submitting an manuscript means that the authors have obtained the consent of all financial or spatial sponsors of the manuscript and have introduced all financial or spatial sponsorships of the manuscript.

    The author (s) is obliged to inform the journal about any errors and inaccuracies in their manuscript, to correct it or to withdraw the manuscript whenever they notice it.

Any hazards posed to humans or the environment by research should be clearly stated in the manuscript.

‫ Immoral publications:

   If at any stage of submitting, reviewing, editing, or publishing an manuscript in the Journal, or after, the occurrence of one of the following is ensured, it is considered immoral publishing and research behavior, and the Journal has the right to deal with it.

 Falsified data:

    It is the reporting of unrealistic material and the presentation of fictitious data or results as laboratory results, experimental studies, or personal findings. Unrealistically recording of what did not happen or shifting the results of various studies are examples of this violation.

‫ Falsification of data:

    It is the recording and presentation of research results in such a way that the details of the research or data collection process are manipulated, or data is deleted or altered, or some small results are magnified in order to hide larger facts so that the research results pursue specific goals or the results presented in a way that not be questioned.

‫ Plagiarism:

    It includes close adaptation of the thoughts and expressions of other authors, copying in the expression of ideas, structural similarities in the text or attributing the ideas and results of others without proper reference, or introducing it as a genuine scientific research.

‫ Scientific lease

   It means that the author (s) hire another person to do the research and after the end of the research, with a little involvement and possession, publish it in his own name.

Unrealistic assignment:

   Unrealistic attribution of the author (s) to an institution, center, or educational or research group that did not play a role in the original research.

Resubmit an manuscript, republish overlap, add "honorary author" or delete "real author"

Immoral cases:

   The Journal reserves the right to suspend review process before publication or to delete an manuscript afterwards in the event of immorality. These cases will be announced to the author(s) after review by the editorial board and the necessary action will be taken.
